My mission as a human is to create a compassionate world where we see ourselves as human and others as human, with our hearts and arms wide open.

My Her-story

Ten years ago I stumbled into the fitness industry because I felt the pressure from society to be in my best shape of my life.

This was the beginning of my understanding that our culture conditions us to approach our health in a distorted manner. This ignited a deep drive within me to help as many as possible in reframing how to truly take care of ourselves and why.

My training began with an extensive learning of the structure and function of the body and I used kettlebells and pure movement as the means to strengthen these aspects of my physical self. The results for me were powerful. I danced and played sports my whole life, so I immediately connected with movement in an embodied and impassioned way. This led me to then gain consciousness around what I was putting into my body as well and I played with nourishing myself in a way that had a clear effect on my energy as well as my physical sustainability. And then Motherhood.

Then, Motherhood.

My entire existence changed when I had my daughter.

However, it was not in the way I would’ve thought. Becoming a mother set my inner fire aflame and my passion turned into purpose. What kind of woman am I? What do I stand for? How do I create impact in this world? I knew she would learn from who I was.

When she was just six months old, I decided to start teaching group fitness classes. I compiled everything I gathered in the previous years and created a class that I knew would transform those that attended. I witnessed the lives of many shift in a way that positively and productively effected their career, relationships and approach to life.

Through my fusion of spiritual practice and body knowledge, I birthed Kettlebell Kundalini.

This signature movement method integrates functional exercise with breath work into a powerful practice that connects the mind and body, strengthens the core, awakens the power of your spirit.

In the years following my commitment to creating this type of space for others, I was in desperate need of finding a space of my own where I could seek peace and solace from my personal struggling. I sought support in a way that would strengthen my spiritual self so that I could step out of my marriage and establish a life of my own, based on my own inner compass. I immersed in communities where I discovered yoga, meditation, chanting, journaling and other modalities of transformational work. I turned my world upside down, my inner core was rocked beyond recognition, and I encountered challenges and trials I never foresaw coming. Day after day I transcended all of my previous capabilities and discovered a faith in myself that proved to be unshakeable and set me straight down the path of becoming all of who I was meant to be.

The impact of immersing myself in inspired community, led me to create one of my own.

I co-founded, or better yet, birthed, Rise Gatherings, out of my own need for support during a transformational period of my life. Rise Gatherings creates retreat experiences where women can connect more deeply with themselves and others. My own need for community and support through changing and challenging times, led me right down the path of creating it as a support system for others.
